Firefighters Respond To Merritt Parkway Crash With Injuries In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, Conn. — Firefighters from Trumbull responded to a single-car crash with injuries on the Merritt Parkway on Tuesday night, according to the Long Hill Fire Department’s Facebook page.

The accident occurred near Exit 47 on the northbound side of the parkway. When firefighters arrived, they found a single vehicle lodged on top of a guardrail, fire officials said. 

The department did not say how many people were injured.

The vehicle sustained heavy damage, according to the department.

No further information was available on the crash.
